Managed to label about 500 Blueberry Plants today – which was cold and windy.  Our blueberry plants are really looking good, all average about 40cm tall and ready to go out.  The cuttings have done well.  All the plants are in bud and will produce some good crops when mature.  Blueberries make great garden fruit as they just go on producing and they are so easy to care for.  Blueberry Plants at www.scotplantsdirect.co.uk make great Christmas gifts – So why not give someone one of the best plants full of antioxidants!!  Blueberry Plants make great pals!!

Here at Scotplantsdirect we all remember last year and the snow!  Today 25th of November it finally tried to snow – a few flakes but nevertheless SNOW!!!  As we had a terrible time last winter, but Scotplantsdirect has been prepared this year – lots of rock salt, spreading machines, plows, improved sheds and heavy coats!!!  We will not be beat this year!!

This bareroot season we decided to lay out our fields in a different manner – and it is working.  We managed to put over 20,000 bareroot plants in the field in a day – all sign posted and now ready for shipment.  We studied the process from lifting to holding the plants in our holding fields for the past year and this year we laid out the material in a more organised manner – and so far it is working – can hardly wait for the next 20,000  plants next week which again will go into our newly organised fields!!  Plants are very good specimens and we feel our customers will be very happy.  The stock is a lot bigger than advertised – especailly the rosa rugosa which I have been delgated to pack!!  Thanks for the thorny ones people!!!  What a challenge!!
